(1) POINTS
All Postcard Challenges are worth 15 points, and in certain cases this can be doubled, as stated in the specific challenge. Unlike Pub Story Challenges there is no points multiplier for different geographical locations.
(2) LOCATIONS
Almost all Postcard Challenges have to be completed in a given country, as stated in the specific challenge. You can complete as many relevant postcard challenges as you want in any given country. You can also perform a small number of Postcard Challenges wherever you like. For example, sleeping under the stars can be claimed in any country.
(3) TEAMS & CARS
By Team we mean car. If you are in a convoy of two or more cars and only people from one car perform the task (e.g. playing boule against a Frenchman) you cannot all claim the points, only the team that played can. However, if you are travelling in convoy and you complete the challenges together, you can all claim the points if you can prove it (e.g. if you have two buskers from two cars working together you can both get the points). At least one team member needs to complete each challenge although every team member must be present and must support the challenge; ideally, everyone should join in.
(4) EVIDENCE
You will need to be able to prove completion of each task. Therefore, you will need to evidence successful completion with photos and videos where necessary and send them in. This can be done on the move by emailing: evidence@urally.org or altogether once you return. You can e-mail them in, send a DVD, USB stick or drop them off in person. The burden of evidence is on you. If there is any doubt you will not be awarded the points.
(5) REPEATING CHALLENGES
You can only get the points once. For example, if you sleep under the stars in France, you cannot claim points for doing it again in Mongolia.
(6) DISQUALIFICATION
Any action that brings U Rally into disrepute will result in immediate disqualification from the competition and rally itself, no refund.
(7) RULES CHANGES
Judges say is final. Rules and challenges are subject to change at the discretion of U Rally.
