U Rail

U Rail is a new feature for U Rally 2012. If you'd love to take part in a rally, raise money for charity but don't want the stress of buying a car and driving in a foreign country, or the expense of paying for insurance and petrol, then U Rail is for you!

U Rail takes place alongside the main rally - the only difference is that rather than driving everywhere you take the train instead! You'll take part in the same challenges and be invited to the same parties, and have the same brilliant experience as everyone else.

The rally starts on Sunday 29th July 2012, with a halfway party in Prague on Sunday 5th August and the final party in Barcelona on Sunday 12th August.

The Route

You'll need to do a bit more planning here to make sure you know all of the train routes - the Eurail planner will give you an idea of train times, connections and routes.

However, once you're on your way you won't have to worry about driving, petrol costs or what to do with the car at the end. You'll be able to sit back, relax, plan which challenges you're going to do, and maybe have a drink!

We are holding a halfway party for U Rally in Prague in the Czech Republic, and the final party will be in Barcelona in Spain, so these are the main cities you should plan your route around. To the right is an example route, but you're free to choose any route you wish!
